And yes... Lamborghini started out as a tractor manufacturing company before being recognized as a world re-owned supercar company.
Here's what I know:
Founder & creator, Ferruccio Lamborghini was a wealthy tractor after World War II.
He became a sportscar fanatic with a garage of Mercedes, Jaguars, Maseratis, Lacanis & Alfa Romeos. He then soon found himself owning his first Ferrari, a 250GT. It was his pride possession & soon enough owning other two Ferraris.
Ferruccio realized he had recurring clutch problems & brought his complaints to Enzo Ferrari, founder & creator of Ferrari, himself.
Ferrari insulted Lamborghini, stating that a tractor manufacturer should have no right to criticize Ferraris.
Taken aback & affronted by Ferrari's comments, Lamborghini decided to repair the clutch problem himself & found that the clutch was the same type his used for his tractors. Lamborghini then build a new clutch which has a stronger specification of such that actually solved the problem.
Ferruccio Lamborghini later decided to much better supercars. He hired ex-Ferrari engineers to help in the design & development of cars that would blazon the Lamborghini logo.
Much respected models like Miura & the 350GT shicked the world & put Enzo Ferrari in his place.
& the reason for the bull as Lamborghini's logo is simple.
Ferruccio Lamborghini's zodiac sign was Taurus.
Under that legacy, every supercar, expect the Countach, was named after a famed bullfighting bull.
