The 7 foot high floor lamp was designed by a Brooklyn based architect named Laurie Beckerman. The magnificent piece of art is made of mirror-polished bronze.

CALEB SIEMON "HAPPY KISS" LIGHTS
Designed by glass artist Caleb Siemon. He will be exhibiting his latest work, including the" "Happy Kiss" lights, at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair 2009.
From Caleb Siemon:
Happy Kiss Lights are reminiscent of another era and play with the reflective and maleable qualities of glass. This line consists of heavy thick-walled pieces, which are hand manipulated to create a creased and singularly individual form for each piece.

The Swan XL was a follow up of the Swan table lamp.

TRABANT PENDANT LAMP
Joachim Manz has designed the Trabant Pendant lamp for German lighting manufacturer Tecnolumen.
The lamps are concrete balls that hang on a thin wire, & on one end of the concrete ball is a glass lens (either matte or clear) that maintains the same curve as the rest of the ball. The lamps com in 2 versions, Trabant 1 has a thin lane in the concrete that allows rotating & tilting the lamp, while Trabant 2 does not.

LED-based traffic light concept requiring 3 times less details than the common traffic light.
it operates with just two kinds of single LEDs.
the yellow colour is a result of both red & green lighting up together.
